Flysafair: No excuses, no update, but have a bottle of water!

I recently flew with FlySafair again and I can honestly tell you - it was a hot mess! "Priority Boarding (PB)": How does a person get in line for PB if there is now signage to indicate which line PB is? When you are in the very narrow Lanseria boarding gate halls there is NO WAY to see where the PB line is. After I was in front (I arrive early for travel), our flight was delayed and I had to move elsewhere to get seating space for the looooong wait. When boarding was re-announced after the technical issue was sorted, and I asked an attendant where Priority Boarding is now (as there were already two lines of irritated passengers standing), she told me to just push to the front of the line. Really? Bulldoze my way past all the other passengers who have also been waiting and plant myself at the front of the line like a Diva? NO - I paid for priority boarding - make a line that is meant for priority boarders - everyone has been waiting a long time - who am I to bulldoze my way to the front past them! Why am I paying for priority boarding if I still have to stand in line with everyone else? Because FlySafair (or the attendant on duty) cannot be bothered to indicate where the Priority Boarding line is??

Delayed: No excuse, no update, but have a bottle of water! On this same flight which was delayed, no-one bothers to inform the passengers what is going on. The attendant couldn't care less and if you fight your way through the crowd to go and ask, they do not have an answer. Then when the crowd starts grumbling about the long wait, you placate them with a bottle of water?? Really?! I am not a child- you will not distract my worry about being late by dangling a bottle of water in front of my face. Treat me like an adult and start by telling me why the flight is delayed and how long it will be delayed for, so I can inform the other adults waiting in CT how long my flight will be delayed, so they can adjust their plans. A bottle of water is not a problem solver. Use your words: adults talk and update their clients and attendants.

Filthy Magazine. I like FlySafair's in-Flight magazine - I think it's great! BUT mine was disgusting! After finally boarding, I opened mine after the long wait mentioned above, and when I was done reading, I found some idiot had stuck their gum to the back page and my jean was now full of someone else's gum. Once again; Really?! Yuck man - that is gross!! Are the in-flight mags EVER changed out? Yuck, yuck, yuck!
