Flysafair does not cover damages to baggage on their managed flights

Flew Dbn to Jhb. Upon baggage retrieval 3 out of 4 PVC trolley bags had deep breaks, indents, broken zip covers and broken wheels. Met with their ground staff at the carousel baggage handling & was referred to their agent, Swiss port, outside pavement at OR Tambo. They stated that Flysafair does not cover baggage damage claims & referred me to the online t's & c's. My tickets were purchased via a travel agent, whom failed to inform me of this. Wow, what a damper it was at the start of our 2 weeks holiday, moving around with broken baggage.
