FlySafair Booking Confirmation Number Con - Must check your Bank Statement!

Don't be fooled by a confirmation email with a booking reference number!

I booked a flight on a sale day. I got the confirmation mail straight away and never thought of it again until the day before my flight… Only to find the payment did not go through to not fault of mine i.e. no funds. FlySafair’s payment gateway failed and I got no form of message (Email, SMS, Whats App) informing me that my flight was not booked! All I had was the booking reference from the confirmation email!

Upon raising this with FlySafair they said the onus was on me to check my bank statement! The flight cost me 3 times more than the sale price!

Poor show FlySafair.

I raised the issue with them and they said I would be contacted. Still waiting two weeks later.
