Fly with the Cattle Merchants (or Kindergarten Airlines)

Probably the worst experience ever on any airline and here I include my first flight on a Cessna through a thunderstorm... - Firstly, the so-called Priority boarding is a farce (Glad that I or my clients did not pay extra, as I and all other non-priority passengers boarded before the priority passengers). - At Cape Town passengers are treated like Children. If you are standing next to the person you are with, you get scolded for "not being in the queue" - Then you have to stand metres back from the boarding gate and may only approach the counter when the ground-staff calls "Next", thereby wasting time with each person boarding, with open space of three metres that need to be covered before the next passenger reaches the counter... - After that they attempt to split the passengers between the front and rear, again wasting time, with that process before the boarding can commence. If passengers are just allowed to board, the process is much faster, as proved through many years. - The aircraft is then basically overloaded by squeezing in as many passengers as possible and there is zero leg-room for an average height person, with the knees touching the seat in front. It is like cattle being squeezed in for their last trip to the abattoir - The seats are small, hard and uncomfortable, especially for any flight longer than one hour - Because the seats are small, cheap and squeezed in, they cannot recline - On one flight the flight attendants were rude and obviously had no concern for passenger comfort, while the next flight was "okay" - Because of the attempts to make money off the "cattle" the tickets are over-priced for the experience. For such prices one would at the least expect a meal of sorts (compared to other airlines). - On the first flight, relevant to this review, the pilot misinformed the passenger in relation to the flight time - On the second flight the pilot misinformed the passenger in relation to the "weather", while the true reason for the delay was the malfunctioning of the GPS equipment at Cape Town. We landed in PERFECT weather. - On the third affected flight, the Pilot managed to depart, close to the approximate departure time, but managed to fall behind schedule by an additional 30mins (where lost time is usually made up during a flight) - With unboarding they also delay the process by only allowing two rows to unboard at a time, again creating open spaces and delaying the process in a significant manner.

Overall, FlySafair is an extremely low quality product at exorbitant prices. Personally, I will avoid it AT ALL COSTS. However, sadly, as my clients do the bookings and payments, I have to fall in and fly on this "airline".
