Fly Safair Disappointment

If there was a 0 star rating I would give it to Fly Safair. I've been a loyal customer for almost two years now, always recommending them to my friends and family, but not any more. I had a booking on FA 317 on 15th of November and we were supposed to fly 19:20 CAT and I only got on the plane at 23:25 at Lanseria.

There was a technical difficulty with the plane so they had to fly in another one from OR Thambo. For a person that only gets one weekend a month ( if I can afford it) to see my better half in Cape Town, this is unacceptable. I understand that this was not anyone's direct fault regarding the technical difficulty, but the solution was poor.

The staff working at the counter was terrible to us wanting to know if we could book another flight or just move our flight to the next morning. The information given through from the start of the delayed flight was inaccurate, I could've booked another weekend and just moved my flight to have more time with my better half.

I was disappointed and let down by FlySafair and I wish they could rectify this inconvenience, but I'm not sure they could.
