FLY SAFAIR - Damaged luggage (TWICE IN 1 WEEK)

***/12JUL16/1559GM

I am extremely disappointed that I have not had a refund of R1000 which is owed to me since the undermentioned confirmation of my damaged suitcase on Safair Flight FA131, 12 July 2016. (3 months and counting!!!)

This was in fact a replacement suitcase given to me by Safair in Port Elizabeth as my newly purchased suitcase was damaged on Flight FA130 from CT to PE on 4 July 2016. This was reported to Janine at Safair in Port Elizabeth. She handled the whole process efficiently and speedily and followed up with me every day in order for me to get a new suitcase in time for my return flight to Cape Town on 12 July 2016.

Then to my amazement my newly replaced suitcase was once again damaged by Safair on 12 July on my return to Cape Town. I have had to replace the suitcase myself as Safair took too long.

Kerry-Ann van Zyl has been communicating with me however, she promised that the supplier of the suitcase would contact me to arrange the refund. I am still waiting!!!

How many months does Safair need to refund a customer???????
