Fly "******ion" Air
<p>I booked a flight with FLYSAFAIR on their website. Because of their 'save details ' funtion on the webpage i mistakenly booked a flight with the wrong name. TO my shock this airline charges R300 to change a name which came up to 50% of my flight ticket.</p> <p>This is to change a name (not a date, not the time of flight) but the name on an UNPRINTED ticket that cost them absolutly nothing.</p> <p>How is it that this is even allowed, it is absolute ******ion. </p>
I have been called by FlySafAir and it was explained to me that they have a 24 hour waiver of the R300 charge only if you call the call center. This was not communicated in the terms and conditions of the booking.
I suggested to their agent that this should be made clear to people , also i suggested that they have a long hard look at this clause because it is unreasonably punitive to charge such a massive amount for a name change.
This suggestion will be taken forward to the powers that be. I really hope they take it on board.
But in the end they were quick to respond and were able to assist me without the levy of the R300.
