Firearms and Air Travel

I am a 100% legal firearm owner under the laws of South Africa. Most Airlines permit travel of firearms locally via air in a safe and strictly controlled manner. Why wont Safair allow a person deemed legally competent to transport a firearm under RSA law to fly on their airline. This makes no sense to me. Will Safair review and change policy for Safe transport as per the law. I have to travel and be in a province without my firearm limiting my ability to defend myself. You can get separate safes to transport the firearm and ammunition separately to the owner during the flight using a booking in and booking out system so easy. Common guys get with the times.
