False advertising

I recently booked a flight for myself and my son (2 years old)...

When proceeding to check out a message pops up saying "Children u/12 can sit for free if at least one adult books a seat..."

1. This is extremely misleading/false advertising. As one is lead to believe that if the accompanying adult "pre-selects" their seat, then the child who is u/12 may fly/sit for free.

2. This is manipulative as it leads you to pre select a seat at an additional cost. When in actual fact the child does not sit for FREE!

You are still required to pay the full air fare.

3. If my 2 year old son is going to sit on my lap the entire flight, why should I be paying the full price for a flight?
