Dumped at OR Tambo

<p>Last week I flew with my wife and granddaughter (her first flying experience ) from Lanseria to Cape Town, return.</p> <p> </p> <p>Flight to CT no problems </p> <p> </p> <p>Return flight Tuesday 21st February 5 minutes before our approach into Jhb Captain announced issues with landing at Lanseria and we were diverting to OR Tambo.</p> <p>All good we landed then told no one disembarking we just were going to refuel ( scary thought) as what Lanseria 50km from OR Tambo. !</p> <p> </p> <p>Then captain an ounced 1 and a half hour delay those that wanted to disembark could.to our astonishment 90% of passengers began leaving plane.</p> <p>We asked an air steward why and she said delay could be ad much as 3 hours.so with a 3 year old restless little child we decided to also disembark. </p> <p> </p> <p>Would we be assisted to Lanseria as that is where our mv parked.no we would need to make our own way.</p> <p>He relies the problem no public transport to Lanseria except taxi or Uber at R750.</p> <p> </p> <p>Why could Safari not just hire a coach request all to pay R100 each and problem solved.No never we are no longer their problem.</p> <p>So x5 hours later my son had to fetch us after work and then drive us to Lanseria in rush hour traffic at 17:00</p> <p> </p> <p>Shame on you Safair you have lost clients in me and my extended family and all those who are sick and tired of being just a number . </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> good </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
