Double Standards on Luggage Policy

On Saturday evening I had a flight from Durban to JHB. In good faith I approached your counter at Durban International Airport for a printed Boarding Pass. Your guy at the Counter, Moosa Dawood if I am not mistaken said that my hand luggage was not the appropriate size. Bear in mind I have used this bag many times on your airline. I was annoyed and walked away and went through the gates only to be stopped at the Boarding Gate. There were so many people with bags bigger than mine that were allowed to board but because I stopped at your counter I was discriminated against and I was forced into buying a bag. The rules were different for me only because I stopped at your counter. There has never been an issue before with this bag, if there was i wouldnt have stopped at the counter in the first place. The Bag was not even checked in despite me paying for it. It was just kept with the other oversized luggage that people call hand luggage yet only I was charged.

I am disgusted with how I was bul**** into buying a bag. It is disgraceful that you do not treat all your patrons the same. I will be taking this to hello peter and any other social media on how your airline treated a single female with a child on Sat night. No ethics and no morals, the height of hypocrisy. Not to mention that my Dad just passed away and I was forced to for kout for a bag i could ill afford

Shame on you Safair, shame on you
