don't buy the more expensive Safair ticket-*******

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Safair counter at OR Tambo regarding my recent booking (***). 30-10-2025 I always booked the more expensive fare option because it was advertised as allowing flexibility to move my flight if needed. This was the first time I have ever needed to make such a change, and I was surprised and frustrated when your staff at the counter were unwilling to assist without charging an additional R800—despite the “two free moves” policy. A new ticket at that time was only R1,100, which made no sense given the supposed benefits of my fare type.

To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive, which only added to my frustration. As someone who flies with Safair almost every week, I expected far better service and flexibility, particularly after paying extra for a fare that promised it. Given this experience, I have reconsidered future bookings and have advised my colleagues to do the same. you should remove “two free moves” policy and explain why I was charged nearly the full price of a new ticket
