Disappointing Business Class Experience – Flight FA323 (DBN to HLA)

My fiancé and I recently flew with FlySafair on Flight FA323 from Durban to Lanseria on the 03rd of February 2025 (departure at 19:40), having booked Business Class. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected and did not justify the premium we paid.

-Cleanliness Concerns: The seatbelts were dirty, to the point where they stained my fiancé's white pants and shirt, which was extremely disappointing. -Limited Menu Availability: Half of the items listed on the menu were unavailable, making the selection feel very restricted. -Uncomfortable Seating: The seats were too upright and could not recline, causing discomfort throughout the flight. -Boarding Process: Despite booking Business Class, we still had to queue alongside passengers who had booked Economy but had priority boarding. This made the experience feel no different from simply purchasing an Economy ticket with added priority boarding.

Overall Experience: Apart from priority security screening and blocked middle seats, there was little that set the Business Class experience apart from Economy.

We were truly looking forward to a premium experience with FlySafair, but unfortunately, it fell short.
