I booked a return flight from JHB to Durban only to find out my that my partner was ****d. I therefore canceled everything that I had to so that I could be by her side and support her through this situation.

Having explained everything to flysafair, I was told that I needed a doctors note as proof of what had happened or a case number / police report. I can't force her to open a case as she's fearing for her life. I had hoped that counseling would help advice her as to what to do but she's still in the early stages.

I explained that this is a delicate situation and needs to be handled with sensitivity. I wasn't impressed with the service and I was refused my refund.
