CLOSING TIME OF BOARDING GATES

Good day We, Mrs Maritz, Meyer and Steyn, were booked on flight FA 0260 JHB - DRN on 18/08/2017 for 07:10 We booked in our luggage long before time. We started moving towards the boarding gate E8 more than 15 min before closing. As there was a que we tried to go threw quickly. When we got to the boarding gate 06:55 the gate closed in front of us. We still saw the last bus behind the door with not even the door closed. The lady just said with no emotion that we were too late. We doubt that we were not in time. All three of us looked at our watched and could not believe that we were late. We had to get standby seats. We just feel that the flight would not have been late if the opened the door to let us on. We are not very happy with the fact that we had to pay R300,00 extra for another flight as it was not our intention to be late.
