Change of flight with REDICULOUS prices and not to assist with helping to say goodbye to a loved one.

Good day, If I could , I would not even have given Flysafair a one star.

We booked flights with Flysafair when we found out that my Grandmother does not have much time left, as she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. On that day, is was the R10 sale as well as the 30% discount sale. We could not come right with the R10 sale, but we did manage to get the 30% sale. Booking the flight for 4 passengers, we could not see that it gave us an option to click flexible flight, so we assumed that is would give us an option on a later stage, but it did not. We paid the tickets as the flight were booked already, the Dr phoned us last night, saying we need to come ASAP, as next week would be too late. I called FlySafair to find out what the change in dates would cost us, as we already paid almost R7000, the advised us that is would cost us another R7900 to change flights, even if we submit the Hospital and DR notes, that they cannot make any exceptions to waver the cost as the the family member that is on her death bed is not on the plane with us. It is so sad, that we cannot afford another R8000 to go say our final goodbyes before my Mothers mother closes her eyes for the final time, bacause FlySafair cannot see past MONEY.
