Breach of CPA by Flysafair

I recently purchased tickets to fly home for a wedding. Due to the recent restrictions preventing anyone from leaving or entering Gauteng, had to cancel my flight. Upon cancellation, with a given chose for my refund, Flysafair chose to give me a voucher which by their own words and means cannot be refunded for cash. I've tried to call, email, even address the issue on twitter. Their Twitter response noted that they only refunded cancellations with vouchers only. This by all rights, breaches the CPA regulations for a refund to the consumer. What's more, my purchase was not with the use of a voucher, but rather cash via EFT. By right, I should be afforded a full refund in a similar manner, and just as promptly as I made my payment. Flysafair show disregard to regulations and the consumer. They make it impossible to get a hold of. The form for a refund provided on their site will not, by all means lead you to get your money back. The excuse that they have to charge the consumer for cancelling their flight at any point is unfair to the consumer. As the consumer cannot control social demographics on who should replace their seats, when and how. Cancellations are just as similar as returning a purchased good from a store. Stores will provide a you a full refund, given the product was unused or had a defect and is done within a a certain period after the purchase, i.e. product being returned within 14 days of purchase and a full refund will be issued to consumer and in cash to the consumer. The unfortunacy of all this, is through government regulations that restrict personal travel in and out of Gauteng, which should by all rights afford the consumer a full cash refund without any question. The airliner cannot assume that I will want to fly anytime soon and/or with them again. They should afford the consumer the option of a cash refund or a voucher(should they plan to fly within the voucher period). It's a choice the consumer has and not subjected by an organisation to make money out of people's dismay. Right now, all I want from Flysafair is my money back, and not a voucher and seeing that they provided me with the voucher, afford me a full cash refund for the voucher.
