Beware - FLYSAFAIR do not honor their insurance pay-outs from thefts on their flights

SHOCKING SERVICE FLYSAFAIR - FlySafair have been messing us around for 3 months with the insurance claim of goods ****** out a suitcase flight JHB to Durban early December. My sons suitcase was broken into, he filled in all relevant forms, went to the police and did everything asked of him to do at the airport. 2 months later (after us questioning where our claim was), they then asked for us to send invoices (of goods bought ages ago *** ). The person dealing with our claim has gone AWOL, no emails further, but we have been told telephonically after us chasing them yesterday that they will pay R500. This is obviously their standard please go away pay-out. The broken lock was over R350, damaged suitcase over R6000 to replace, goods ****** over R8000. I've tried to speak to a manager to no avail. Extremely unhappy customer. Beware - FLYSAFAIR do not honor their insurance pay-outs from thefts on their flights. Would appreciate a manager not brushing us off and actually sorting this out properly.
