bags broken into and delayed flights with no communication

Flight from JHB to Durban, when we arrived both Our bags was broken into we noticed our locks was missing when taking the bags off the collection belt,, the entire bag was shuffles and untidy, every compartment was opened, when i went to report it to FlySafiar bag counter, I'm told there is nothing i can to, it cannot be reported as only if something is missing i can report it, the fact that clearly it was tampered is not a reportable thing,

on our return Flight, the flight was delayed over two hours with zero communication as to why we delayed or when the flight will take off,
