Baggage Rip-off

Traveling with my wife on a trip organized by her employer. We decided to share a bag to make things simpler. We were both entitled to our own 23kg bag, combined we were a couple of kilograms over this weight. No problem on the way down to Cape Town, but on the way back informed we weren’t on the same booking so we weren’t eligible to combine our baggage allowance. Charged hundreds of rands in excess baggage on what amounts to a technicality. Beyond pathetic exploitation of the situation. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Won’t be flying FlySafAir again.
