Baggage policy

We flew in from Perth on SAA and were allowed 23 kg and on to SAFAIR Jnb to Cpt I had to pay an extra R250 because My bag weighed 22.9 kg! What made me cross is that SAFAIR beat SAA domestic price with a small margin therefore we went SAFAIR but after paying the R250 for an heavy bag and paid for all our snacks it worked out quite a bit more on SAFAIR than SAA as SAA allows 23 kg as well as free drinks and a meal!!! As an ex SAFAIR employee, I feel very unhappy and feel SAFAIR could make exceptions for international travellers. Beware (( goedkoop koop is duur koop))
