Avoid Flying FlySafair

Six months ago, in 4/09, I booked a flight for my wife and I to Mauritius. The flight was with FlySafair flight FA850. It was all quite disappointing. Got to JHB International to check in on 20th Sep 2025. My wife had a seat and I did not. After considerable effort and time by the supervisor, they managed to get a seat for me. IT WAS NOT WITH MY WIFE! We asked the senior flight attendant if she could try and arrange an exchange with someone. She explained that there was no extra space to do that as the flight was full. The next disappointment was that the flight had refreshments for sale, payment by CARD ONLY! none for free. I only use cash and did not have cards on me. I thought that cash was legal tender??!! Not a pleasant experience overall. I caution anyone NOT to use FlySafair. I Will definitely not be using FlySafair again. In Mauritius I will attempt ot pay the penalties to cancel the return flight and book with Air Mauritius instead. I have never had this experience with AIR MAURITIUS.
