Absolutely the worst airline experience of my life – FlySafair is a joke I flew from Johannesburg to Cape Town, and FlySafair managed to do the one thing an airline absolutely cannot do: lose my luggage and completely disappear afterward. My bag vanished somewhere along the line. When I went to the lost luggage desk at the airport, no one could give me a single answer. No explanation. No accountability. Just a phone number and a shrug. I have now called that number 26 times. Not once has anyone answered. Not a single callback. Nothing. I am on a business trip, and my business clothing, personal items, and valuables are gone. I’m stranded without essentials, while FlySafair and their ground handlers pretend the problem doesn’t exist. No updates. No tracking. No urgency. Just silence. To make it worse, Menzies Aviation Services (their handling agent) are absolutely useless — unhelpful, unresponsive, and clearly incapable of doing their jobs. Dog **** service doesn’t even begin to describe it. FlySafair markets itself as reliable and affordable, but what’s the point of cheap flights if your luggage disappears and no one at the airline gives a damn? This is not just bad service — it’s complete negligence. If you value your time, your belongings, or your sanity, do not fly FlySafair. This is hands down the worst air travel experience I’ve had anywhere in the world.
