Absolutely Disappointed – Will Never Fly with FlySafair Again

I had an extremely disappointing experience flying with FlySafair on the 18th of August 2025 from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

Firstly, the flight was delayed without any proper communication, leaving someone who had to fetch me in Cape Town waiting unnecessarily. This was already frustrating, but things got significantly worse.

Upon arrival, I discovered that my bag had been tampered with. A lock that I personally secured was broken, and valuable confectionery items — imported from overseas — were ******. These weren't just snacks; they were business samples meant for an important meeting. This theft caused immense embarrassment during the meeting, as I was left empty-handed and unable to present anything. It was a crucial opportunity, completely ruined by FlySafair’s lack of security and care.

To make matters worse, trying to get help from the airline has been a nightmare. The call centres are completely unresponsive — no one answers, and there's zero accountability. It’s clear that once they have your money, any form of customer service or concern for your experience disappears.

There is no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism. I will never fly with FlySafair again, and I’ll be sharing this experience publicly across every platform available. People need to know the risks before trusting this airline with their time, property, or business.
