Worst airline Cemair

Worst airline to travel with. I initially booked a flight for 5 people from Jhb to Durban. Got to the airport and there was an technical issue with the flight. They changed out the flight and got everyone on another flight. On take off the pilot stopped. We was then told that there was an issue with the flight. And everyone had to jump off and get back to the airport. Everyone was then told that there was an issue with this flight also and the engineers will be working on it. We would only know what’s going on in 2 hours time. I couldn’t wait and requested a refund.

Honestly I wouldn’t even rate them 1 star. This was a bit of a scary experience. Besides that the refund apparently takes between 7-21 days. Also they should be more mindful of the safety of their customers and get their aircraft’s in order before flying.

What was supposed to take an hour to get to Durban took almost half a day. Besides that u gotta have extra money to book another flight coz the refund takes a while.

I know issues like this happens. But from speaking to other people what I gather is that it’s often with cemair. It wasn’t just a delay but a safety issue too.
