Refusal to refund

Refusal to refund:

On 01April I witnessed a car accident in Boksburg where I assisted on the scene.

I booked a flight on behalf of the husband whose wife was severely injured in the car accident in which their newborn grandson was fatally injured.

I booked the flight at 11h25, at 12h55 I called in to cancel the booking because Mr. Bester was unable to get to Kimberly and had to get a flight from Upington as he was travelling from Springbok to the nearest airfield.

I was informed that I will only receive a 50% refund. In the light of the circumstances, I find this unacceptable and in conflict with the consumer protection act.

Please could you assist in this matter.
