Refund overdue

A flight that I have booked for 25 May 2022 was cancelled due to mechanical problems. I enquired about the refund and was told it is going to take 3 - 4 weeks. How difficult can it be to do a refund that it takes 4 weeks?! Today is 4 weeks and still no refund received.
