CEMAIR DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THE DISABLED

CEMAIR ************** AGAINST DISABLED

On the 29th November my brother was supposed to fly from Bloemfontein - JHB for the Guns and Roses concert. My brother is quadriplegic and in a wheel car.

When he arrives at the airport, the Cemair manager, Stephan Geldenhys refuses to allow him to board the plane. Explaining what a big problems this is, talking down to him, (He is in a wheelchair, he is not dumb)

Mr Geldenhuys tells my brother there is no way he will allow my brother on the plane, Cemair can loose their license.

Stephen Geldenhuys embarrassed my brother in front of the airline staff and other passengers.

Does Cemair not cater for the disabled? - they should put this on their website before you book the ticket.

My brother said he had never been treated so badly, he had never not been able to enter into a place or plane because of his disability.

A letter was sent to Cemair - it is now a week and I have heard nothing from them. I phoned to find out and the manager said she gave it to the legal department.

I got the 'legal departments cell number' Monique, Cemairs lawyer - said that she did send a email yesterday, (which I did not receive) and they are in the process of returning my money for the flight.

are you kidding me - I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS DOES NEVER HAPPEN TO A DISABLED PERSON AGAIN. THAT SOME OTHER PERSON NEVER GETS TREATED THE WAY MY BROTHER WAS.

THANKS CEMAIR FOR CONSIDERING THE REFUND FOR THE TICKET, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT MY R2000 GUNS AND ROSES TICKETS, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT MY BROTHER MISSING THE CONCERT AND MOST IMPORTANT THE TIME I MISSED WITH MY BROTHER.

We have been looking forward to his visit for months, he had to see a doctor before he travels, I don't think you understand the complications and preparations that had been made for his to visit.
