BOOKING.com , Cemair , Travelgenio

I bought a return ticket from Kimberley to Durban on the 7th April 2022 from Travelgenio using the booking.com website, departure date 29th April 2022 and return date 3rd May 2022 and on the 27April 2022 I received a call from the airline Cemair that the flight from Kimberley to Johannesburg has been cancelled due to not having enough passengers , and i have an option to take a later flight or receive a refund ... but my problem was that i had a connecting flight from Johannesburg to Durban on the same day therefore i cannot take a later flight .

Surely the TRAVELGENIO or Cemair could have put me onto another airline as i have paid Travelgenio commission on this ticket and paid the full fare to Cemair , also Travegenio is still advertising the same flight on Booking.com

I had to make another booking on Airlink at a considerable cost due to time delay and also on a one way ticket for the same ticket .

I emailed Cemair and they told me that they would refund my ticket from Kimberley to Johannesburg, but later they backtracked and said that I have to get my refund from Travelgenio. I looked up contact details for Travelgenio but could not find any, then I saw on facebook that travelgenio had done similar things to other passengers.

Surely Booking,com must be aware of Travelgenio's, and BOOKING.com bad practise and still allowing them to advertise on their site
