Another late departure from Durban Airport form an old plane.

On the 5th of August, I was traveling from Durban to Cape Town on Flight 5Z1891 departure scheduled for 13:00. This was my first experience with FlyCemAir. By 13:00 the flight was delayed and eventually, we departed by 15:00. The problem is that there are very few flights to/from Durban. The delay was apparently due to a lot of fog and rain in Cape Town earlier in the day. Are these aeroplanes so ill-equipped that they cannot land in the mist? How do they land at night? Also, do they not have weather Apps, or can the flight controller not make a phone call to Cape Town? The plane was old, my seat recliner mechanism slightly damaged, but the worst of all was the smell inside the aeroplane. Initially, I thought it might be rubber and oil from the aircon, but as the fight progressed it became clear that it was a sewage smell masked by chemicals! It became so bad that I was starting to feel bad ! So from this, I deduct that the air handling system did not function correctly, leading to the build-up of smells and at the same time increasing our Covid risk!
