Fly Blue Crane - Refusing to refund

This is the worst service I've ever experienced.

I booked a return trip from Cape Town to Kimberley a month prior to my departure date. Flying to Kimberley was smooth as I had no trouble at all. I arrived in Kimberley and a few days to my return trip to Cape Town I receive a call from "Aggie" which states my flight has been cancelled due to a flight schedule and I should book a different airline. I convince myself that this is a prank call and hang up. After that, I head straight to the internet for contact details and call Fly Blue Crane to confirm this misunderstanding. I contact the office and inform them about the call I received and they confirm that yes there is an Aggie in the office. They hand the phone over to her and she repeats the exact story. I ask her what the solution for all of this is and she states that the only way forward is a full refund of the entire trip.

I let it rest for a while as I book a different airline for double the amount I had initially booked for as this is short notice. I email Fly Blue Crane my banking details and I await a response, this is on the 22nd December 2016. On the 4th of January 2017 I call them as no transaction has gone through and they state I should forward the email directly to Neo as she deals with the refunds. I do that and yet no response. On the 5th January I send out a reminder to Neo, and I do the same again on the 6th January 2017. On the same day I call again, speak to Aggie and she alerts me that Neo is busy with the transfer and it will take up to 48 hours to go through.

I let the weekend pass and call on Monday 9th January 2017 and “Thabang” now answers the phone. He confirms that on their system it shows that the transaction went through at 12:58 on 6th January 2017 and he is about to send an email to his manager to inform her. I call on the 10th January 2017 and now the only person in reach is Charne’. She states the “refund lady” Neo is off on leave and the only person in place is the manager (Mpumi), who is in a meeting. She takes my contact details and promises me that her manager will call me after her meeting. Up until today ****h January 2017), I’ve been calling back and forth and Mpumi the manager is at every minute in a meeting and there’s no one else to assist me with this. Oh and at the other office (where Aggie and Thabang are located), the phone now gets answered by a “Boitumelo” because “Thabang has just left the office” and “Aggie is not in at the moment”.

I need my money back!
