Zodiac pacer nonsense
I had bought a zodiac pacer. After a few months I noticed that the pipe on the pacer had a whole and was throwing all the dirt back into the pool. Long strong short I went and purchased a new one. Guess what the same place on the new pacer is doing exactly the same thing. So now I'm abit concerned about the build of this product. I mean if two of your machines I've bought have the exact same problem clearly there's a problem with the machine given that I have a pool for over 40 years. So my wife emails them about it l. Says it's going to cost us to get a technician out to see if it's a manufacturing defect or if it is my pool that's a problem lol. Now my issue is that the price to get someone out is around the same price to buy a new machine not to far off. Alternatively I can courier them the machines and still pay if it's not a defect. Now heres my problem in order to get a technician it cost me more a less the same to go buy a new kreepy. But if I go ahead with sending it in to see what's their defect who knows how long my pool will stay dirty. Over and above that according to reviews there's so many times that it comes back as the chemical balance was off, the dirt it pick up is not fine enough. The corners of the pool are sharp, kinda seems like regardless of their product they seem to blame the pool. So what's the point of this company. Are they creating products that are not of a good standard in order to **** people on their warranty.
I've decided not to go ahead with sending either machine in. I'll most certainly go buy another kreepy from another company and guess what I'll never purchase another zodiac. Over and above that I will recommend that not one ever buys their products.
We are required to do troubleshooting beforehand in order to avoid unnecessary delays and cost and this is the reason the agent asked for photos of the pool cleaner. If all the troubleshooting has been done, a call has been booked and the technician inspects the unit and finds that the warranty is invalid (anything other than the pool cleaner is faulty), a call out fee will be charged. Kind regards. Sandra Cremer. Customer Care Supervisor
