Zodiac Mx8 Inferior Product

I bought my mx8 pool cleaner on 30 Nov 2012. It worked fine for about a year. and then just stopped functioning.<br> I contacted zodiac and they eventually sent out a technician to come have a look in January 2014. <br> He repaired the unit without any feedback. The unit worked fine, although I noticed that the parts that were replaced was not new, but looked used (2nd hand). I did not worry about this, as my unit was working and my pool was looking good again.About four months later the unit failed again. It was almost winter and I did not bother to contact zodiac again. When I eventually contacted them of course I was reminded that the unit was long out of warranty, etc.<br> <br> My point is. that this is an expensive unit, so you expect it to last a couple of years at least.<br> Also I am not happy about the fact that my unit was repaired under warranty, with inferior parts.
