ZODIAC FALSE ADVERTISING WITH 2 YEAR WARRANTY

I am most upset with Zodiac, they false advertise their 2 year warranty. I purchased a Zodiac Genius in in 2018 and then at the end of January 2020 the kreepy krauly stopped working, it was not sucking up the dirt and would not stay on the walls of the pool, so we took it back thinking as it is still in the 1st year of the 2 year warranty we would get a replacement or it would be sent away to be fixed. Game informed us it will take 7 working days, after the 7th working days i followed up as now my pool is turning green as i don't have a kreepy krauly. Only to be told there was an issue and they did not send it away. The very next day I got a call to say the kreepy krauly was tested and that I had to pay for 2 parts to be fixed, apparently it was poor PH levels in the pool that broke the kreepy krauly. I enquired on how they got to this conclusion as the pool is always well mainained. The manager at Game said he would have a rep from Zodiac contact me to explain. I received a call today, 10/02/2020 from Valeria Human informing me that the person who inspected the kreepy krauly LOOKED at the foot pad and decided it was due to the PH balance because the foot pad was slimy. Which it would be after the kreepy krauly not working for a few days. How can they LOOK at something to determine the fault. I'm now sitting with a quote of R680.00 to have the Kreepy Krauly fixed. I asked about the 2 year warranty and Valeria informed me it is a "manufacturing defects" warranty, whatever that means as she cannot give me a definition of this. I no longer want a new Zodiac Genuis, i want my money refunded as Zodiac has hidden agenda's when they false advertise, so the public can think they have a good product and when something goes wrong with the product then they want to tell you other nonsense of what the product does and doesn't cover. I WANT A REFUND, i'm also writing to the consumers rights complaints department.
