Zodiac Chlorinator

I bought a Zodiac Chlorinator through Pool Doctor 3 years ago. It has broken 4 times in 3 years and for 1 of those years it was not even used because we were renovating. Pool Doctor tried to charge me over R4000 for the 1st repair even though it was in warantee. It's clearly one of those "dud" units from the start or extremely poor quality. I tried contacting Fluidra head office in Jhb but they had no interest in investigating, they just said "it's out of warantee". I took the unit directly to Fluidra Cape Town and they have had it for a month and have not even got around to investigating on what needs to be repaired. Zodiac always had a reputation for excellent quality products (even if they were higher cost) but based on this experience I will stay far away from any Zodiac product
