The pool cleaner that voids its’ warranty if it picks up fine dirt
I recently purchased a TX35 robot pool ‘cleaner’. As I watched this funky looking gizmo roll along the floor I noticed that it picked up the fine debris at the bottom and shot it out the top - effectively circulating the fine dirt in my pool. When I called up the CPT fluidra branch they told me that it is not meant to pick up the fine dirt like sand or algae and in fact if it does your warranty is voided. So the machine is meant for small leaves etc but not the typical dirt in the pool. I was advised to vacuum the fine dirt out by hand and then put in the robot. Long story short - don’t be fooled. Luckily the retailer took the product back as they realized that they were selling a product which claims to clean a pool but really doesn’t. It picks up the odd leaf.
