Do not waste any extra money on buying an expensive pool cleaner, it will not work better than the Zodiac Pacer. The mechanical pool cleaners like the MX8 have a lot of wear and tear parts that need to be replaced regularly. The Zodiac Pacer does not have this problem and cleans the bottom and the walls of the pool extremely well. I have a huge pool so I needed to purchase a few extra pipes in order for it to extend and is able to reach all ends and angles of my pool.
