Pacer pool cleaner defect, get damaged if used in pool with slight unbalanced water

I bought a pacer pool cleaner After three months the foot was showing marks of flaking. no signs on any other parts Obvious a manufacturing defect. Fluidra claim it is due to water imbalance and will not honor warrantee. So water balance constantly fluctuates in any pool, therefore the Pacer pool cleaner can not be used in a chlorine/chemical pool. My previous Genius pool cleaner lasted for nearly 10 years without this problem. Fluidra's customer care also took 16 days before giving a final answer after I reminded them about the claim
