PATHETIC SERVICE FROM POWER PLASTICS (FLUIDRA)
Dealing with Power plastics / Fluidra has been an exhausting experience, unfortunately they seem to have a monopoly on pool covers. I had to beg for an invoice, beg for a quote, then they didn't measure correctly , they cut my cover then realized the new cover was wrong so left me with a mess and went off to recut cover, I paid a deposit, the balance due was eventually sent to me with a password (account no) which i didn't have , asked numerous times for assistance ,emailed numerous times only email I received was you have an overdue account please enter account no to open statement. eventually 6 months later I get a phone call to advise me my account is outstanding; I advise the company that I can't pay until I know the outstanding amount. the company advises they will forward to accounts department. emailed accounts department no response, eventually phoned the accounts department who forwarded the account no at last. wanted to pay and checked payment history and found I had paid the balance in December 2025. what a waste of time - the inefficiencies and lack of process, follow up, replies to emails, difficulty to get an account, poor handover from order to install - what a shambles - I would rate this division of fluidra, power plastics cape town as 0 of 10

Excellent service from Adam of Fluidra concerning pool cleaner.
Thanks to Adam of Fluidra for sorting my pool cleaner issue. Bought a Zodiac pacer- when unpacked it the apparatus was already assembled- just connected the pipes. The pool cleaner remained on the pool floor and did not go up the walls. Phoned Adam and he sent his assistant to help. Discovered that the blue pad was put on the wrong way! Replaced the right way and works wonderfully yay. Won't trust prepacked stuff again!!
