Unfulfilled Payment Agreement and Unprofessional Behaviour

I contracted for FlowOs under Alex Tresor and was owed R4,000 in fees due at the end of January. After being ignored, I was forced to send a formal letter of demand just to receive a response. We eventually reached a payment agreement, which he failed to honour on the agreed date. When I followed up on the missed payment, I was accused of “harassing” him, simply for holding him to an agreement he had made. Despite this, he proceeded to pay R2,000 of the R4,000 owed, which confirmed that my follow-ups were entirely justified. The remaining R2,000 was then agreed to be paid before the end of April and remains outstanding to this day. When I followed up again, I was told to “leave him alone,” threatened with being blocked, and spoken to dismissively, all for requesting payment that is legally owed to me. To make matters worse, after the work was completed and partially paid for, he began dismissing the validity of my work entirely, sarcastically putting "worked" in quotation marks and referring to my outstanding payment as "free money" and a "lottery win." This is dishonest and deeply unprofessional, especially after partial payment had already been made. He also attempted to discourage me from pursuing legal action by suggesting that legal costs would exceed the amount owed, a tactic that appears intended to pressure me into abandoning a legitimate claim. At no point during this process was I treated with basic professionalism or respect as a contractor. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with FlowOs or Alex Tresor to ensure clear contractual safeguards are in place regarding payment terms and enforcement. Contractors deserve to be paid on time and treated with dignity and respect, this was not my experience.
