Installation that went terribly wrong

<p>Please see below </p> <p>Underfloor heating We were requested by Mrs Viljoen quote SQ114667 to carry out a service call at her premises as the floor heating was not working.</p> <p>Mrs Viljoen confirmed that the floor heating and the flooring was supp**** and installed by Floors Direct Strubens Valley. (Copy of original quote attached for ease of reference)</p> <p>The findings of the service call was pretty horrific to say the least. The wiring and connections in the trunking, connecting thermostat , power and heater were very badly done and had in places burnt out creating a serious shock and fire hazard. We disconnected the system and cut out the bad wiring. (A picture of this cut out is also attached)</p> <p>We could not get to see what the heating looked like under the laminate floor as this would have to be lifted for a proper inspection.</p> <p>Going forward my recommendation would be to lift the floor to do a proper inspection as well as the rewiring of the thermostat and heater system.</p> <p>Kindly discuss this matter with your directors and or Floors Direct Head Office as a matter of urgency and revert back to me with a solution for your customer</p> <p>The MD from Speedheat contacted floors direct - no resonse to date</p> <p>Please help</p>
