We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience you've experienced with our service.
At Float, we aim to provide a seamless and flexible payment solution, and we're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet these expectations.
To clarify, when you make a purchase using Float, the full purchase amount is reserved on your credit card, but only the first interest-free installment is charged immediately. The remaining balance is held as a reserve and is not a charge; it ensures that funds are available for future installments. As you pay each monthly installment, the reserved amount decreases accordingly until the purchase is fully paid. This process is designed to help you manage your spending and ensure timely payments.
We make sure to explain this process in detail in our "How it Works" pop-up, the instalment schedule at the time of purchase, follow-up emails, and on our website. The aim is to ensure that you can manage your finances easily without taking on any new credit or facing additional charges.
We are disappointed to hear your experience but value your feedback. If you have any further concerns, please reach out to us on *** so we can adequately assist you.
Regards,
The Float Team
Best regards,
