18 Nov 2024, 09:51Hi Lesego,
Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We understand how frustrating this situation can be. To clarify, refunds or returns need to be processed directly with the merchant. Once the merchant has approved the refund, they notify us, and we adjust your installment plan or refund the instalments already paid.
In your specific case, we only charged your first installment of R166.50, which has been refunded to you on 6th of November. The remaining amount was a reserve held by your bank, not a charge from Float. Remember, a reserve is not a charge and completely interest-free. Reserves are released automatically back into your account by your bank, within their time frames and processes of which we are bound by as Float works with your existing bank.
We will send a letter to your bank to assist but unfortunately, this is done automatically by your bank.
If you need further assistance or have additional concerns, please feel free to contact us at ***, and we’ll be happy to assist.
Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
The Float Team
Best regards,
