False adverti*****t of what the service actually is

What is your business model exactly? What benefit are you offering? You say 6 interest free instalments but then you "reserve" the FULL amount from the credit card for weeks, meaning the individual is essentially paying the full amount?? What a waste of my time. I just ended up paying the rest of the instalments on the same day because based on these reviews, you were gonna give me a headache.

Hi Atang,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to address your concerns promptly.

Float is a card-linked instalment platform that lets you split any Visa or Mastercard credit card purchase into an interest-free monthly instalment plan. To clarify, the core benefit of Float is that it allows you to make big purchases without being charged the full amount upfront, which gives you time to manage your credit card repayments instead of dipping into your cash. While we do reserve the full amount on your credit card, only the first interest-free instalment is charged, and the reserve reduces as you pay each instalment.

We make sure to explain this process in detail in our "How it Works" pop-up, the instalment schedule at the time of purchase, follow-up emails, and on our website. The goal is to ensure that you can manage your finances easily without taking on any new credit or facing additional charges over your purchase price.

We are disappointed to hear about your experience but value your feedback. If you have any further concerns, please reach out to us on *********** so we can adequately assist you.

Regards,
The Float Team

Your response doesn't help me at all. On top of everything, money was taken out of my account twice today. First for your "reserve", secondly when I fully settled my account on the same day. So I paid double full price today for something I thought I was going to be paying 1/6 of. I wish I never heard of this company. Release my funds
