Double reserve amounts placed on credit card

Good Day A reserve amount was placed on my credit card on the 27th of December 2024 and another reserve amount for the same amount was placed on the 20th of January 2025. How long will it take for the old reserve to be refunded back to my credit card? It has already been 6 days! Installment plan ***-5

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any frustration caused.

We understand that having double reserves on your card can be concerning. The reserve on your credit card is renewed as part of the payment process, but rest assured that only one reserve should be held at a time. If you still see the previous reserve as “pending” or “uncleared,” this is managed by your bank and will be automatically released. Unfortunately, the timing of this release is beyond our control and can take a few days to reflect in your account.

We’ve reached out to your bank to ensure no double reserves are held and are actively monitoring the situation. We have responded to your ticket and if you have any further concerns, we kindly ask that you respond on the same ticket.

Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,
The Float Team
