Do not even bother
Why would you claim the whole amount from my credit card by claim that it is a ‘buy now pay later’ platform? When I went through your website, no where did it state any money being reserved. I do not recommend to anyone because you’d still pay the full amount. Help me understand why you’d deduct the whole amount and not the interest fee monthly payment. So disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to address your concerns promptly.
Float is a Buy Now, Pay Later platform that lets you split purchases into up to 24 interest-free, fee-free monthly instalments, using your existing Visa or Mastercard credit card. To clarify, the core benefit of Float is that it allows you to make big purchases without being charged the full amount upfront, which gives you time to manage your credit card repayments instead of dipping into your cash.
At the time of purchase, the full purchase amount gets reserved on your credit card, but only the first interest-free instalment will be charged. A reserve is a hold against the credit you have available to spend, it is not a charge and completely interest-free. This ensures that you do not overspend and helps you to meet your monthly instalment. As you pay each monthly instalment, the amount reserved will reduce to the remaining balance of the purchase until your purchase is fully paid.
We make sure to explain this process in detail in our "How it Works" pop-up, the instalment schedule at the time of purchase, follow-up emails, and on our website. The goal is to ensure that you can manage your finances easily without taking on any new credit or facing additional charges.
We are disappointed to hear your experience but value your feedback. If you have any further concerns please reach out to us on *** so we can adequately assist you.
