Surname change gone wrong

Had a surname error and called in and also sent the FICA doc which was Passport of client and according to flightsite airline gave them the permission to change surname on the booking and i accessed the airline website and i saw it was changed but passenger was left behind and told that the surname was not changed so with all due respect I also have proof that the surname was changed so please may I have the moneyof the passenger back
