Where did our money disappeared to?

Our family received a Beachcomber(BC) quote from Flight and Tours(F&T) for a family holiday in Mauritius. We accepted the quote and had to pay a deposit (HUGE amount) to her to secure the flights and acc. at BC. <br> They led us to believe the money were deposited into BC's account & that BC issued our flights. (Bets emailed Air Mauritius flight details - not on BC's docs)<br> Phoning BC for a special request on our \paid booking""; nothing was confirmed or booked<br> We queried the flights (she emailed) at the airline - they confirmed the flights weren't booked through BC; but through F&T themselves.(Never communicated this to the client)<br> F&T gave us e-tickets to proof that they did indeed issued flights; just to find out a week later at the Airline that the flights were cancelled by F&T & the e-tickets meant nothing.
