trip Not cancelled

In march 2014 my ex girl friend and I booked a trip to zanzibar at flight centre lakeside. We paid a deposit for the trip which was 50%. In April we broke up so we're going to cancel the trip. I called to enquire as to how the cancellation works and if any monies would be returned. The guy who helped with the booking advised that the trip had already been canceled by her father and that they don't do refunds. I since found out that the trip had not been cancelled as she went with her mother so all they did was change my name on the ticket. So the guy **** to me obviously so he could keep his comission. I find this completely unprofessional as I would classify him as a ***** and would not recommend using this company to anyone and when I need flights again I will not use flight centre at all.
