Refund overdue

During December 2016 I booked a airline tickets through Flight Centre (Mall of the South) which tickets were paid in full at the time of booking.

Unforseen circumstances however didnt allow me to travel and I had to cancel the tickets and at the time the Consultant Jabulani Madonsela told me the refund would take approximately 3-4 weeks (more than R 8 000 in total).

I have since tried to follow up on the matter each and every time told he would follow it up with their HO that receives refunds but needless to say, it now being 8 months later I am non the richer to have receievd my refund.

As late as yesterday he again promised that the refund would be made and that he woudl provide me with proof of the deposit into my account needless to say, no refund made and or proof provided of the deposit made.

And the at the time of the booking of the ticket Flight Centre still added a charge to it for service yet such service remains conspicisouly absent.

The pot blames the kettle and enquiries to the Mall of the South is conveniently blamed on HO that has received the refund long ago but never acted upon it to actually refund my money.

I even sent a complain to the Flight Centre HO and again needless to say no response and or no refund.

Mr. Jabulani Madonsela confirmed that the refund is in excess of R 8 000 but Flight Centre todate refuding to refund me the money despite having received it from the Airline.

Dr. Jan Daniel Fauré
**********
